Ustaraná hlava je součástí introspektivních soch ze souboru Hlava, která se budí ve 4 ráno. Materiálové řešení vychází z osobního archivu autorky a zahrnuje prvky rodinného dědictví i předměty spojené s domácím prostředím a rukodělnou činností. Tyto „příruční“ materiály lze chápat v heideggerovském smyslu jako jsoucna „po ruce“, vázaná ke konkrétnímu způsobu bytí. V jádru autorčina zájmu je pohyb mezi křehkostí a stabilitou, chápaný jako cyklický, proměnlivý proces. Materiálová báze objektu umožňuje artikulovat vrstevnatou osobní zkušenost a proměnlivost vnitřních stavů. Motiv hlavy zde není obecnou symbolickou formou, ale stopou konkrétní, časově situované zkušenosti. V kontextu série funguje jako index osobní paměti – „prožitý rejstřík“, který prostřednictvím materiálu a formy zhmotňuje rekonstrukci vnitřních prožitků.

Worried Head is part of a series of introspective sculptures titled Head That Wakes up at Four in the Morning. The materials used are taken from the artist’s personal archive and include elements of family heritage as well as objects associated with the home environment and handicrafts. These materials “at hand” can be understood in the Heideggerian sense as entities “present at hand,” bound to a specific mode of being. At the core of the artist’s interest is the movement between fragility and stability, understood as a cyclical, changing process. The material basis of the object allows for the articulation of a layered personal experience and the mutability of inner states. The motif of the head here is not a general symbolic form, but a trace of a concrete, temporally situated experience. In the context of the series, it functions as an index of personal memory – a “lived index” that materialises the reconstruction of inner experiences through material and form.
