Pavel Büchler ve své konceptuální tvorbě často pracuje s nalezeným textem, jazykovými klišé a materiálními stopami komunikačních procesů. Grafika Honest Work (Received) využívá tradiční techniku knihtisku, která zdůrazňuje fyzickou stránku písma i jeho typografickou podobu. Lapidární sdělení v názvu („poctivá práce“ / „přijato“) lze číst jako ironický komentář k systému práce, odměny a institucionálního uznání i jako reflexi samotné umělecké praxe, v níž je význam díla spoluutvářen fyzickým kontextem, v němž je dílo „přijímáno“ a čteno.

In his conceptual work, Pavel Büchler often works with found text, linguistic clichés and material traces of communication processes. The print Honest Work (Received) employs the traditional technique of letterpress printing, which emphasises both the physical aspect of the typeface and its typographic form. The succinct message in the title (“honest work” / “received”) can be read as an ironic commentary on the system of work, reward and institutional recognition, as well as a reflection on artistic practice itself, in which the meaning of a work is co-created by the physical context in which it is “received” and read.
