Art workshops for adults and seniors / integration and intergenerational programme: Between Text and Image

The workshop Between Text and Image, inspired by the works of Ján Mančuška, Jan Šerých and Tomáš Vaněk, will explore the relationship between image, text and symbol through collage and hand printing. We will apply the creative principle of montage and experiment with layering texts, pictograms, arrows, lines and image fragments. During the art session we will practise techniques such as cutting with scissors and a knife, layering and gluing, and will focus on working with different types of paper. The resulting collages will then serve as matrices for hand printing and the creation of original graphic prints on paper.
