The interactive workshops will respond to the exhibition project representing Ostrava art. During these artistic reflections, we will focus on various artistic approaches inspired by the featured artists. The first series of workshops, entitled Possibilities of Abstract Forms, will focus on modifying abstract art and expressive means (colour, shape, volume, line, structure). During the creative artistic work, we will also focus on colour as a tool for expressing emotions, experiences and individual attitudes.
The second series of painting workshops, entitled Everyday Life in Pictures, will focus thematically on the relational connections of things with particular places and their meanings in given contexts The artistic work will be focused on drawing and mixed media techniques.
This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
This activity is implemented with the financial support of UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency) and the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.
