In her research, Anna Habánová focuses on German-speaking artists, whom she has presented in a number of enlightening and informative research projects since 2013.

She has written, for instance, about the painters Erwin Müller and Paul Gebauer, and contributed a standalone chapter on New Objectivity to the book Mladí lvi v kleci (Young Lions in a Cage). On Tuesday, 18 June 2024 at 6pm, she will give a German-language guided tour of New Realisms at Prague City Gallery, where she will among other things discuss the German-speaking artists included in the exhibition.

On Tuesday 14 May at 6 pm we invite you to the Stone Bell House for a guided tour of the newly opened exhibition Group Therapy. During the tour, Art Collection Telekom’s curator, Nathalie Hoyos, will speak not only about the social themes to which the works on display respond, but also about Deutsche Telekom’s growing collection.

In more than eighty works by forty-six contemporary artists, the Group Therapy exhibition reflects current social issues such as the threat to democracy, the rise of authoritarian regimes, intolerance towards minorities, foreigners and people with different views, apathy and indifference towards the climate crisis, terrorism and war.
