The visual motifs of Prague’s palace architecture – marble decorations and Baroque-Rococo ornaments, ceiling frescoes depicting the gathering of the Olympian gods, and damask ornamental wallpaper – will serve as inspiration for the art workshop. During the session, participants will have the opportunity to craft delicate handmade jewellery, creating brooches or small pieces from beads of various shapes and colours. The workshop will thus develop attention to detail, fine motor skills and creative interpretation. As part of the creative artistic work, participants will experiment with different creative solutions and move between non-commissioned artistic work and decorative art.
This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
This activity is implemented with the financial support of UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency) and the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.
