An interactive art workshop will respond to a selection of artworks from the collections of Prague City Gallery. The focus of the creative work will be on watercolour techniques, particularly in relation to garden motifs. Participants will explore methods such as wet-on-wet and dry-on-wet painting. This art workshop will introduce the work of selected artists (such as Josefa Burianová, Gerhard Färber, František Kobliha, Jan Konůpek, Michal Ranný, Karel Svolinský), whose works are part of the GHMP collections.
This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
This activity is implemented with the financial support of UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency) and the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.
