During the workshops accompanying the exhibition, visitors will draw inspiration from the exhibition’s concept and the works of art on display. They will be able to artistically interpret and explore the theme of the labyrinth from various perspectives – both in terms of content and form. The workshop will also include a presentation on the history and context of this phenomenon.

Through their own creative work – primarily drawings, collages and spatial art (assemblages and installations) – participants will be able to design their own labyrinths of the imagination. In addition to their individual original artefacts, a collective labyrinth inspired by the shape of the labyrinth in the garden of Troja Château will gradually take shape – a large-scale ornament that will constantly evolve, with its development documented at each stage. Using a variety of artistic, natural and recycled materials, participants will also have an opportunity to create “experimental” plants in the form of drawings, collages and objects, to be symbolically placed within a virtual labyrinth. Various wires, wicker, twigs and textile fibres will also be available for creating small objects: structures, nets and constructions evoking communication, social and telecommunication networks, neurons and the nervous system, constellations of ideas, different perspectives, etc. A collaborative sculpture in the form of these structures will also be created during special workshops that will be part of the Open Gardens Weekend.
