Through interactive workshops, we will get to know the artistic work of the exhibiting artist and focus on the themes he reflects in his artistic strategies. We will also explore art-making as a means of communication and as a moment that conveys a message. At the same time, we will learn about the principles of conceptual, performance and postmodern art.

We will focus on the art technique of mixed media in the art workshops entitled Symbols and Meanings in the Image. Participants will seek their own reflection through techniques such as collage, drawing, painting and working with paper. Through creative work, we will focus on historical and cultural signs, art history and the contemporary phenomenon of information overload.

Todosijević’s magnum opus, Dnevnik (Diary), in which the artist documents his life, will be the source of inspiration for the second series of workshops entitled Watercolours and Diaries. During the artistic work, we will focus on interpreting our own inner worlds and self-reflecting on our lives and the events around us in the form of a diary record. We will combine drawing and watercolour techniques.

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
