Since 2006 Eva Hoffmannová has been the Head Librarian of the GHMP specialized reading room, study room and library, which is part of the Department of Education. Her position includes handling of in-house book loans to the general public, especially art students. She is in charge of in-house book loans to GHMP professional staff. She takes care of the book collections in the reading room and the reference libraries of the individual departments, periodically performs physical inventory of the book collections, purchases literature and assigns the newly acquired publications into the collection of lending materials while also assigning the latest catalogues from the GHMP exhibitions into the collection. She manages the administrative agenda of the complete GHMP book collection. Eva Hoffmannová initiated the opening of the reading room and study room in the Villa Bílek after its transfer from the Golden Ring House, thus preserving the continuity of its operation. She is also in charge of the František Bílek research room. She is responsible for presenting the reading room to school groups and professionals – e.g., librarians from the Association of Librarians and Information Workers (SKIP). She has 18 years of experience in the library industry. Her work experience also includes teaching. She graduated from a secondary vocational school with a specialization in librarianship and bookselling.
