Angry Albatros
Illustrator Angry Albatros, whose real name is Katarina Kratochvílová, mainly creates illustrations with Japanese themes. She will be releasing a new graphic novel, *The Heart of Furin*, published by Labyrint. You may have spotted her latest works at the National Museum’s “Treasures of Taiwan” exhibition. They’re also available in bookstores, where her newly announced comic book is currently on display. At Angry Albatros, you can also purchase original posters and postcards, a dress-up game, and pins.
Andrea Benedetto
Andrea Benedetto is a Swiss-Italian designer whose research focuses on experimentation at the intersection of analogue and digital media. As an independent publisher, he develops self-financed projects, published in limited editions or as unique pieces to be displayed in exhibitions. He works closely with other artists and creatives to design art books and catalogues, some of which are published by local publishing houses and distributed at various exhibitions and events.
The Visual Arts Archive
The Visual Arts Archive systematically collects, catalogs, and makes available documents related to contemporary visual arts, primarily Czech and Slovak art of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The association manages extensive collections of catalogs, monographs, invitations, books, journals, and photographs, which are cataloged using the abART information system (www.isabart.org). The Archive operates a reading room and storage facilities in Prague 4 (Nusle) and a specialized library at the DOX Center for Contemporary Art (Prague 7).
It organizes exhibitions in the Archive Library (Malá věž) and at the Polička/Shelf gallery, hosts lectures, and publishes books. The main objectives of the Archive’s activities are managing the collection, making materials available to researchers, providing training in abART, and expanding the database with an emphasis on detailed documentation of exhibitions, events, and key figures in the art world. The Archive regularly publishes its own publications.
Artefactum
Artefactum Publishing publishes both scholarly and popular works focused on art history, architecture, and cultural heritage. As the publishing arm of the Institute of Art History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, it produces monographs, exhibition catalogs, books resulting from research projects, and guides to significant historical sites. Artefactum’s publications combine cutting-edge art-historical research with high-quality graphic design, making new perspectives on Czech and European art accessible to a broad audience of both experts and the general public.
ART ANTIQUES
ART ANTIQUES is the only Czech print monthly devoted to art, architecture, and the art market. Next year, it will celebrate 25 years since its founding. Over that time, it has established itself as a respected critical magazine.
In every issue, readers will find in-depth articles on current exhibitions, a major interview, thematic essays, and reviews. ART ANTIQUES covers art in its full breadth, ranging from contemporary Czech and international works through modern art to old masters art of earlier periods. It is also the only Czech periodical that consistently focuses covers the art market.
In our September double issue, we focus on Jakub Jansa’s project for the Czech and Slovak Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, present the largest retrospective to date of the Czech art brut legend Anna Zemánková at the Gočár Gallery, and cover the exhibition by the Bezhlavý jezdec group at the Prague City Gallery.

Bubec
The organization BUBEC, o.p.s. was founded in 2000 by sculptor Čestmír Suška. Its main focus is operating the Bubec Art Studio and Gallery, where it organizes exhibitions, festivals, art shows, and concerts, and provides regular artist residencies for artists from around the world. Over time, its activities have expanded to include the Kreativ Bubec creative center, a community garden, and the Zahrada art park. In addition to the Studio, it regularly organizes the popular Festival m3 / Art in Space, which focuses on placing art in public spaces, and the mini-gallery Galerie Dejvická. As part of its efforts to support and promote cultural values in the field of visual arts, BUBEC, o.p.s., publishes art books and so-called “Creative Boxes.”
Camilla Pavlíková
Camilla Pavlíková (b. 1997) is a Norwegian screenwriter and visual artist working across photography, text and collage. Rooted in personal archives and family history, her work explores memory, cultural identity and the experience of growing up between Norway and Slovakia.
Otrava! is a self-published artist book that combines her mother’s family photographs from Slovakia with her own analogue images, paintings, diary and script fragments to explore family distance, belonging, language and cultural heritage. But above all, Otrava! is a rebellion against her own upbringing.
Daniel Nádas
Daniel Nádas is a visual artist who blends photography with prose and spiritual literature. At this year’s fair, he will present his debut book, *Trees*, along with a selection of original prints. Daniel Nádas perceives trees and all of creation as full of Life and Spirit. He does not seek to copy, but rather to evoke this hidden Life. He experiments with classical photographic techniques to radically abstract the image of reality down to its very essence—from the descriptive to the expressive symbol. He is aware of the pitfalls of photography, where the quest for an ever-more-perfect photographic record can sometimes lead only to technically flawless yet utterly lifeless, soulless copies of reality. That is why Daniel works with suggestion, just as a prehistoric painter did, who, with just the outline of an animal’s silhouette, evoked its entire existence with the utmost vitality. He counts on the perceptive viewer to complete the reduced image in their mind.

Heyt be! Fanzin is an independent art zine collective founded in Istanbul in 2010 by Deniz Beser and Sedef Karakaş. Dicey Studios
Dicey Studios is a Berlin-based graphic design studio, working with artists, publishers and non-profits. In self-published, self-initiated projects Dicey Studios use graphic design and typography as starting points and tools to remix and appropriate (found) source materials like text fragments or visual signifiers. These typographic and illustrative explorations of topics like subcultural branding, immediacy, identity, exploitation etc., can take the shape of zine, textile objects of books – occasionally as performance and installation objects.
Eszter Koncz
Eszter Koncz is an interdisciplinary artist from Hungary, observing, mapping, and making objects with a strong visual focus. She works at the intersection of artistic research, performance art, and graphic design, often focusing on local flora, fauna, and folklore. Her independent publishing practice is an extension of her situated artistic research projects, which include a map of extinct creatures that once lived in the South Bohemian forest, postcards of Sicilian fishermen’s boats, and a newspaper on Sea Monsters (created in collaboration with Kirstine Hupfeldt Nielsen).
Est.Discipline
Est.Discipline is a self-published art-book label founded by Berlin-based interdisciplinary visual artist Yuka Kobayashi. Rooted in her painting practice, the label publishes artist books and collaborative projects that bring together digital art, sound, and other media through the format of print. Each publication explores the relationship between physical and virtual modes of making.
Extending this practice into printed matter, Est.Discipline develops publications as dialogic spaces between artwork and audience. Rather than serving as simple documentation, the books offer intimate encounters with the work through layered narratives and material experimentation. Its publications often bring together text, photography, painting, and collage, expanding the book beyond a printed object into a site of sensory and conceptual exploration.
The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen
The Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen bases its publishing activities on its artistic, educational and research practice. The fakulty publishes monographs, conference proceedings, exhibition catalogues, publications documenting studio projects, and experimental book projects. Guided by their tutors, of the Department of Graphic Design and Illustration, as well as photography and printmaking students, explore the possibilities of the book as a creative medium.
GASK – the Central Bohemian Regional Gallery
GASK – the Central Bohemian Regional Gallery is a museum of modern and contemporary art housed in the unique Baroque premises of the Jesuit college in Kutná Hora. It manages and systematically expands a collection of Czech and international art from the late 19th century to the present. In 2024, when GASK celebrated its 60th anniversary, it opened a new permanent exhibition titled “Through the Labyrinth,” showcasing the gallery’s collections with an emphasis on new acquisitions. The exhibition program is complemented by educational programs offered by the GASK Education Center, which aim to present art as a natural part of life. An important part of the complex is the gallery gardens, featuring sculptures and spatial installations that connect art with the panoramic view of historic Kutná Hora. The complex also houses the Skleník bistro, the staff house, a conference center, and, most recently, the GASK guesthouse.
Klatovy / Klenová, p. o.
A combination of historic architecture (the ruins of a Gothic castle and a historicist-style chateau), set against the beautiful landscape of the Pošumaví region, with modern artistic expressions.
The gallery focuses primarily on contemporary Czech and international art across a broad spectrum, ranging from classical forms (painting, sculpture) through photography and architecture to new media; there is also a sculpture park on the grounds. In addition to temporary exhibitions, it organizes international art symposia. Exhibitions take place at the chateau and its immediate surroundings (the castle, the historic granary, and the farm complex); in Klatovy, they are held at the U Bílého jednorožce Gallery on the town square and at St. Lawrence Church on Plánická Street. In the town of Klatovy, we organize the annual “Sculptures in the Streets” exhibition, which is open throughout the tourist season. In the summer, concerts and theater performances are held on the castle grounds. The permanent exhibition features 20th-century Czech art, works by Vilma Vrbová–Kotrbová, and the castle’s furnishings.
The Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové
The Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové (GMU) ranks among the most significant galleries in the Czech Republic in terms of the scope and quality of its collections. It focuses on Czech art from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries to the present. In recent years, it has been purposefully expanding the scope of its collections to include moving-image works and art from Central and Eastern Europe. It organizes solo, group, and thematic exhibitions, which are complemented by lectures, discussions, guided tours, and other cultural and educational programs for the public of all ages.
In addition to exhibition catalogs, the GMU’s publishing activities focus on monographs, academic and educational texts, scholarly anthologies, and translations of significant works. The Central and Eastern Europe Series holds a special place in the publishing plan; it was most recently expanded with the Czech translation of the book The Art of Ukraine (Alisa Lozhkina, 2025). GMU’s latest title is Labels in 20th-Century Czech Art (Tomáš Kolich, 2026), which expands on the themes presented in the new permanent exhibition.
The Cheb Gallery of Fine Arts
The Cheb Gallery of Fine Arts (GAVU Cheb) is an art museum focused on two main areas—Gothic art from the historic Cheb region and modern and contemporary art of the 20th and 21st centuries. Since 2016, it has also included the Retromuseum, a specialized exhibition dedicated to design and lifestyle in Czechoslovakia from the 1960s to the 1980s. Both institutions are located in the center of Cheb, on the western border of the Czech Republic—GAVU in the New Town Hall building on the main square, and the Retromuseum in the neighboring Schiller House. At the Art Book Fair, the gallery and museum will offer a selection of current publications, catalogs, and publishing projects focused on fine art and design.
Hana Šipková
In the landscape of the heart, there is a place where we hide our poems. Some wounds are joyful; others are painful. But every wound will eventually heal. We can hide our poems deep within ourselves and keep them only for ourselves. Or we can bring them out into the light and share them with others. I chose the second option.
The poems I wrote over the course of two years were born in the twilight of evening, born of a desire to express the feelings that overwhelmed me at a time when the world calms down, the bustle of the city falls silent, and streetlights flicker on empty streets. I wrote some of these verses in Mallorca, enchanted by the surf and the endless waves that lapped at my feet. I wove the mysteries of love and death, pain and awakening into these verses. Everything is merely hinted at through the imagery I’ve woven into the verses, whose rhythm approaches the form of haiku.
The poetry collection features a large number of illustrations that are fragments of a painting—a painting in which I ignored the color codes I was supposed to use to fill the squares. Transformed into a blue-and-white form using photos from a children’s camera, they create an elusive, boundless space—somewhat blurred and more sensed than seen.

Ivan van Chrasten’s book IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS MUD invites you to continue the story in your own way. It is also a bold piece of book design: the author hand-set the text in Thorn, his own typeface, forming imaginative calligrams. Ivan van Chrasten took on the challenge of the High Game, a concept from the avant-garde group Le Grand Jeu.

LABYRINT has been publishing high-quality fiction, books on art and comics for over thirty years. Children’s literature and the magazine of the same name are published under the RAKETA imprint.
Lví kámen
Lví kámen is a family-run publishing house whose motto is “books with a message and a soul.”
It focuses on Italian children’s literature, art, folklore, and poetry.
Its long-term projects include translations of exceptional Italian children’s novels accompanied by artistic illustrations, poetry from southern Italy, folk tales, legends, and myths, as well as the introduction of unknown and forgotten Italian authors, places, and events. New releases include a project about the Shoah set in the wartime Rome ghetto, *The Tram of Life* by Tey Ranno, and *The Island of Myths: Greek Myths in Sicily* by Giuseppina Norcia, illustrated by Marcella Brancaforte. For the youngest readers, last year the publisher released the tender first-reader book *The Whale and the Little Whale* by Roberto Piumini, illustrated by Cecilia Fallongo, as well as his most famous novel, *The Firefly*—a whimsical story of a painter and a boy—illustrated by Cecco Mariniello. A collection of historical short stories, *Čáry*, by the renowned Sardinian author Bianca Pitzorno, is currently in preparation for publication.

Meziměsto is a small independent publishing house founded by literary journalist and documentary writer Michaela Hečková. We focus on books about architecture, cities, and people. We are passionate about contemporary architecture and the stories hidden within small Czech towns and villages.
Melisa Cheese
Melisa Cheese is a SIngaporean artist based in Germany. She mainly works with illustrations, risography, zines, comics and character design. Inspired by her reflections in life. she enjoys experimenting and conveying the juxtaposition of cute and horror with her conceptual stories.
Mi:Lu Publishing
Mi:Lu Publishing specializes in translated and children’s literature, operating between the Czech Republic and the Far East. Its translation program focuses on award-winning Taiwanese authors, introducing Czech readers to contemporary Chinese-language literature.
In children’s publishing, Mi:Lu produces fully illustrated picture books and connects publishing with visual arts. It co-organizes cultural events including readings, exhibitions, and creative workshops for readers of all ages.
The publishing house is led by Tomáš Řízek (b. 1963), an acclaimed Czech illustrator, author, publisher, and educator. Active since the early 1990s, he is known for his versatility and expressive visual language. For over twenty years, he has worked in Taiwan, promoting Czech book culture and developing his artistic practice between European and East Asian visual traditions.
Rizek has received awards including the Bologna Illustrator Award (2024) and the Gratias Agit Award (2023). He works between Czech Republic, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Michal Motyčka a Nadační fond Václava Ciglera
Assoc. Prof. Václav Cigler, academic sculptor (April 21, 1929, Vsetín – January 8, 2026, Prague), was an internationally recognized glass artist, ranking among the most significant figures of the artistic generation emerging in the early 1960s. His work focuses on sculptural objects of cut optical glass, light structures, jewelry, drawings, landscape projects, and compositions for architecture. His creative practice centers on space, glass, light, and water. From 1951 to 1957, he studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague under Professor Josef Kaplický. In 1965, he founded the Glass in Architecture studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, leading it until 1979.
Ing. arch. MgA. Michal Motyčka, born March 18, 1974, in Prague, is an artist, architect, and publisher. He explores the intersection between architecture and contemporary visual art. He collaborated with Václav Cigler from 1999. His publishing activities are linked to these projects.
Mind Upy – Kmona
*Mindupy* chronicles an awakening from rational oblivion—toward an inner voice that refuses to simply stand by silently as life flows past. Through her poems, Kmona seeks a way to perceive more, experience more, and gradually learn to work with herself and the world—in a slightly healthier, more conscious, and more authentic way.
The texts oscillate between lightheartedness, sarcasm, and acceptance. They are about observing what is happening inside and around us, about striving to take life a little less seriously while still living it to the fullest.
The fanzine is accompanied by illustrations and was created in the hope that readers will find understanding, a sense of connection, or inner peace within its pages—and perhaps even a reason to try things again and again, to not give up, and to look for the good in them.

The Moravian Gallery in Brno
The Moravian Gallery in Brno is a museum of art and design that ranks among the most important institutions of its kind in the Czech Republic. Its collections include more than 200,000 works of art. The gallery is housed in six buildings: Pražák Palace, the Governor’s Palace, the Museum of Decorative Arts, Jurkovič Villa, the Josef Hoffmann Museum, and, most recently, the Open Storage Facility. The Open Storage Facility offers a unique opportunity to look behind the scenes at the preservation and care of the collections, placing the gallery among Europe’s pioneers of open access to art. In addition to its permanent exhibitions, the gallery organizes temporary exhibitions dedicated to contemporary art, design, photography, and fashion. A voluntary admission fee for the permanent exhibitions and selected shows makes the gallery accessible to the general public.
Museum Kampa
Museum Kampa houses the collection of Jan and Meda Mládek, which includes works by František Kupka, a pioneer of abstract art, and Otto Gutfreund, a Czech Cubist sculptor, as well as works by prominent 20th century artists from the so-called Eastern Bloc. The mission of Museum Kampa is to bear witness to the difficult times in which this art was created—times that should not be forgotten. In addition to its permanent exhibition dedicated to František Kupka, the museum organizes numerous temporary exhibitions—ranging from showcases of contemporary international visual art and works by comparatively well-known Czech artists to special projects such as exhibitions featuring fashion, architecture, or graphic design. It regularly publishes exhibition catalogues.
The Museum of Modern Art in Olomouc
In terms of the number of artworks it manages, it ranks among the most significant institutions of its kind in the Czech Republic. The collection, comprising nearly 94,000 items, is divided into 11 subcollections (architecture, artist-made books, photography, 20th-century books, drawings, coins and medals, paintings, sculptures, fine prints, commercial prints, and applied arts), which are displayed in three buildings:
The Museum of Modern Art is dedicated to exhibitions of 20th- and 21st-century visual culture. The Archdiocesan Museum in Olomouc focuses on spiritual culture. The Archdiocesan Museum in Kroměříž cares for the collections of the bishops and archbishops of Olomouc within the premises of the Archbishop’s Palace.
Since 2008, the Central European Forum Olomouc (SEFO) research center has been operating here; its mission is to explore the connections and differences in visual culture in the Central European region from the late 19th century to the present.
The MUO publishes exhibition catalogs, monographs by individual authors, thematic anthologies, and scholarly studies. Among its greatest publishing achievements are awards in the Gloria Musealis competition for Best Book of 2020 (Karel of Liechtenstein-Castelcorn) and 2022 (Sacred Art in Unholy Times).

dybbuk is an independent publishing house founded in 2001. We publish texts that interest us personally and that we are sure of their timeless quality — the best books in world fiction and the most stimulating popular science texts that address essential human cognition.

Kher, a publishing house specializing in Romani literature, amplifies the voices of Romani men and women by supporting the creation, development, and promotion of Romani literature. Triáda Publishing
For 30 years, Triáda Publishing has been publishing high-quality books across a range of fields that, for various reasons, are lacking in the Czech Republic or that make a significant contribution to free discussion and enrich the local cultural landscape. In many cases, Triáda’s books refer to one another—sometimes more, sometimes less conspicuously—complementing each other and engaging in a dialogue. The National Film Archive is one of the leading Czech publishers of works focused on film and cinematography. National Heritage Institute
Through its publications, the National Heritage Institute presents its professional activities and emphasizes the interpretation of individual aspects of heritage preservation within interdisciplinary contexts. Its scholarly and popular science books and periodicals focus not only on the heritage inventory and exceptional buildings, but also on the history of art and architecture, supplemented by other related fields. As a subsidized organization of the Ministry of Culture, the institute manages state-owned castles and chateaus, which it also introduces to visitors through printed guidebooks, but also, for example, even through projects related to noble families.
Neklid
Neklid publishes books that would otherwise not be published in the Czech Republic. It focuses on leftist theory and practice, publishing environmental, feminist, political, economic, and related literature—both in translation and by Czech authors. Neklid’s diverse publishing portfolio includes authors such as Yanis Varoufakis, Milena Bartlová, David Graeber, Nastassja Martin, Bruno Latour, Nancy Fraser, Paulo Freire, and others. However, Neklid is not a traditional publishing house; rather, it is based on voluntary educational work in which anyone can participate.

A-where-ness: A Manual for Exploring Prague Through the Senses

Presented as a guidebook and a workbook, it contains an artistic research of the urban city centre. It offers a series of prompts, exercises, and reflections designed to activate the senses of touch,sound, smell, taste, vision – as well as memory and imagination.
A-where-ness invites readers to look at Prague beyond its iconic visual cityscapes , and suggests discovering it through textures, echoes, scent trails and playfulness. Available in Czech or English, it is intended for residents, visitors and anyone interested in perceiving architecture and public space through a more intimate, sensory lens.
OSM Publishing & SpringBao
Osm Publishing is a self-publishing duo focused on photography and text, located in Prague. It was founded by FAMU graduate Yutong Xie and AVU graduate Tianrui Pan. Osm seeks to bring sincere, interesting, and beautiful work to a wider audience, upholding the essential value of the book as a medium for sharing, from moving images work, fictional novels to documentary photo projects.
Springbao is a Taiwanese photography book publisher established in 2024, known for publishing the quarterly photography journal Springbao. In 2025, it founded an art space dedicated to photography as its primary research base. Focusing on photography-centered contemporary art, the space sells books and hosts exhibitions as well as photography workshops.
ottoGraphic
Otto is a Graphic Artist who makes and publishes screen printed artists’ books in Brittany. Working on all aspects of the book as a unit, Otto combines images, text, design, printing and binding. The narratives are image-based, sometimes accompanied by text. Otto publishes his own work as well as collaborations with writers. Many of Otto’s books feature unusual and large format folding techniques leading to alternative narratives.

p a p i d u is an Ostrava-based upcycling studio and platform for sustainable, tangible, and thoughtful work with existing materials. From discarded paper, it crafts original notebooks, sketchbooks, notepads, and albums conceived as thoughtful, playful, free, and inspiring spaces for recording, where form and content interact. The result is products for everyday use—often one-of-a-kind pieces or small collections—that explore materiality rather than mere practicality, with the material’s limits and imperfections serving as a source of inspiration rather than a constraint. The p a p i d u workshop also produces small original books and zines.
Memory of the Nation
Since 2001, Memory of the Nation has been recording and telling the stories of the 20th century. Its online archive features testimonies from war veterans, prisoners of Nazism and communism, dissidents, and even StB agents. Memory of the Nation has several main areas of activity, which primarily include recording and telling stories, providing education in elementary and secondary schools, and assisting seniors.
Through our publishing activities, we focus on stories from our archive to make them accessible to a broader, particularly younger, audience. In addition to non-fiction, we enjoy working with the comic book format, but we also publish short stories and produce audiobooks. We also translate some of our books into other languages; for example, *We’re Still at War* was published in English, and *The Displaced Children* in German and Spanish.
Many of our publications have won prestigious awards such as the Rainbow Ribbon and the Muriel.

Roberts Print
Based in Margate and London in the UK, Richard Roberts is an artist/self-publisher who specialises in print. He has been self-publishing zines and books since 2009. His books range from one-oL artist books to small edition publications. They are in several collections including the Tate Library and Archive, the Bodleian Library, Oxford and the New York Public Library. A selection of his books have been stocked at Printed Matter, Inc, in New York and, previously, Richard’s book Tower Block was among 50 books selected for the ‘Prix Bob Calle du livre d’artiste’. When he isn’t making books and zines in his studio, Richard works at the London College of Communication as a printmaking technician.
Roller Publishing
ROLLER PUBLISHING is an independent Prague-based publishing house founded in 2023. It focuses on publishing books on visual arts, artist monographs, and exhibition catalogs. A key part of the publishing program is the ongoing collaboration with the Jiří Jílek Gallery in Šumperk, which creates a space for dialogue between established art centers and regional cultural institutions. At the same time, the publishing house is opening itself up to international collaboration.
Sara Marzová
Hi, Ahoj, Hola! I am Sara Marzová and I am a Spanish–Czech photographer and book designer based in Berlin. Investigating, exploring, building books, photobooks and zines has become my way of preserving things –specially that I like– against the fragility and constant change that places, people, moments, and objects go through, often suddenly, and without warning.
Books are the perfect excuse to, turn them into something physical and beautiful that can be seen, touched and infinitely revisited. My books go from Postindustrialism in a small iberian village to the journey of the spanish exilees to Czechoslovakia and to tales for the young and the old and some zines.
All of the books have been done intertwining analog and digital techniques like serigraphy, laboratory enlarging, using the traditional bookbinding techniques

My name is Saule Beken. I am a Kazakh illustrator and visual artist based in Prague. My work explores cultural identity and the connection between tradition and contemporary life. Inspired by Kazakh heritage and culture, I combine traditional ornament, symbolism with a modern visual language. My works across editorial, commercial, and cultural illustration, creating artwork for books, publications, and creative projects. At my stand you can posters, postcards, stickers and more.

Solomiya Magazine
Solomiya is a contemporary art collective offering a platform for experimental publishing, curating, and research. Founded in Kyiv in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, she focuses on underrepresented discourses and subjective ideas, and connects cities and cultures across the globe. At the heart of the collective’s practice is the publication of the English-language printed magazine Solomiya. The collective also curates public programs and exhibitions, and produces works both by its members and in collaboration with artists, writers, collectives, and designers.
Kruh Association
Since 2001, the Kruh Association has been dedicated to popularizing and promoting architecture and urban planning, both in Prague and throughout the regions of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. For 25 years now, it has been organizing lectures and other events that bring architecture closer to the general public. Through the Architecture Day and Film and Architecture festivals, it brings discussions on contemporary architecture, urban planning, and historic preservation into the public sphere. It consistently strives to showcase high-quality architectural solutions, make architecture—both in theory and practice—accessible to the general public, and draw attention to the problems and shortcomings inherent in contemporary architecture.
In addition to the Architecture Day festival—which is entering its 16th season this year—and its sister project, Film and Architecture, KRUH organizes a number of accompanying educational events with an international scope.
At the Art Book Fair, visitors will be able to purchase architectural anthologies, merchandise, and programs and posters for the upcoming Architecture Day and Film and Architecture festivals, which will once again take place in late September and early October.
The Secondary School of Design Lysá nad Labem
The Secondary School of Design Lysá nad Labem presents works by students of the Graphic Design programme through graphic prints, zines, magazines, books, and games. These diverse forms of printed media are created under the guidance of teachers as part of studio and graduation projects, as well as through independent creative projects developed in the workshops of printmaking techniques.
Studio Plume
Studio Plume is an independent publishing project based in Los Angeles that creates artist books, zines, prints, and other printed works. Rooted in original illustration and visual storytelling, each publication begins with an idea, memory, or emotion and evolves through writing, image-making, design, and production into a complete printed work. Through its publications, Studio Plume explores themes of memory, emotion, everyday experiences, and the narratives we attach to people, places, and objects. With a strong focus on materiality, the studio considers how format, structure, and print processes can shape the way a story is experienced. Whether through experimental book forms, tactile materials, or carefully considered details, each publication is conceived as both a narrative work and a physical object. Studio Plume believes that stories are not only meant to be read, but also held, unfolded, collected, and revisited, creating intimate encounters between readers, images, and the printed page.

Subseri is an artistic and diy oriented printing studio based in Milan, animated by a dynamic team. We curate and publish projects in collaboration with different artists and collectives.
TELONA
Telona (Leona Bažant Telínová) is an experimental photographer and founding member of the Hura Collective (studio, theater, workshop and publishing house). Last year’s set of cyanotypes ON THE ROAD, taken during a six-month trip to the USA, is presented by the author this year as a series of handmade author’s books and portfolios. A completely new feature is the upcoming diary Storytelling stick and other stories, which is directly based on Honza Bažant’s research project “Scale and Balance”, on which he worked last year as part of a Fulbright scholarship. The author’s book combines cyanotypes from the photographic cycle On the Road by Telona with drawings and short texts by Honza Bažant. The image part is interspersed with excerpts from literary works closely related to the states of New England and New York (Herman Melville, E. A. Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Washington Irving, etc.) To be published by Hura Collective in 2026.
Trafo Gallery
Trafo Gallery is a private exhibition space in Prague dedicated to contemporary Czech art, including painting, sculpture, video art, photography, and intermedia installations. For each exhibition, we publish a representative bilingual catalogue, resulting in approximately six titles per year. Our publications are created in collaboration with leading Czech curators and graphic designers, producing original and often retrospective documentation of individual artists’ work.
To date, we have published 58 artist monographs and exhibition catalogues, which are distributed through bookstores and galleries.
The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague
The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague specializes in decorative and applied arts and design work ranging from Late Antiquity to the present, especially of European origin and with a focus on the Bohemian Lands. The musem administers collections of glass, ceramics ana pocelain, graphic design and photography, textiles and fasion, furniture and clocks, as well as collection of precious and base metals, jewellery, toys and a wealth of written and pictorial documentation. In total, its storerooms contain more than half a million items. All of the museum’s collections are on display in the permanent exhibition ART, LIFE. Art for Life.
The most significant exhibition this autumn will be Fashion with a heritage, which will showcase aristocratic attire from 1810 to the early 20th century across a wide range of social occasions, such as court visits, balls, weddings and events linked to the careers of male members of noble families. It will open on 25 November.
Utopia libri
UTOPIA LIBRI is an independent cooperative publishing house founded in 2021. Our books form a thematic mosaic that encompasses politics, visual arts, philosophy, queer feminism, sociology, fiction, ecology, and generally transdisciplinary and anarchist perspectives. We focus on crossing the boundaries of topics, genres, and languages, and on the intersections of ideas from horizontal and anti-authoritarian social movements. We collaborate with other creators in the fields of fine arts and book design.
The publishing house was established after many years of experience collaborating on books at Intu (2003-2007) and Neklid (since 2018), among others.
Studio Violatipia
Studio Violatipia which is an experimental studio-space where graphic design merges with alternative photography and printmaking. Here, books, publications and works are created on unique, handcrafted, seeking ever new possibilities for artistic expression.Founded by Visual artist Tzu Ning Chiang (Viola Chiang), a taiwanese artist lives and works in Venice, Italy and Dublin,Ireland. Whose multidisciplinary practice spans various media. She graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia and has undertaken the Erasmus programs in National Academy of Art
Sofia in Bulgaria and Luca School of arts in Brussels, Belgium (photography). Artist residencies in Atelier Austmarka, KH Messen in Norway, Frans Masereel Centrum in Belgium and Cork Printmakers in Ireland. Member of Black church print studio. Her works have been exhibited in Italy, Ireland, UK, Greece, Switzerland, Norway, Austria, Sweden, Bulgaria, Belgium, Serbia, Germany, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Egypt.
Xinyu Li
Xinyu is a Chinese artist based in London and currently a practice-based PhD candidate at the University of the Arts London. Her artistic research is grounded in ruins, with a particular focus on forgotten dwellings and villages.
Her independent publishing practice grows out of her ruins-based research. It documents, in stages, the psychological displacement triggered by decay, abandonment and the fragile afterlives of domestic spaces.
For this book fair, Xinyu will also present independent publications by other East Asian artist-researchers based in London, bringing their explorations of migration and diaspora into dialogue with the audience.
Lisa Ziborova
I am a Ukrainian illustrator and printmaker who is currently based in Prague. In my illustrations I focus on stories which come from my personal experiences. My dreams, fears, thoughts, joys or anxieties, they all find their place in my drawings. Characters are the vessels for my stories, whom I also give a piece of myself. Be it an outfit of mine, a makeup I did the other day, a beauty mark on the left cheek or big, curious eyes.
The West Bohemian Gallery in Pilseni
The West Bohemian Gallery in Pilsen (ZČG) is presenting itself at the Art Book Fair not only as a major cultural institution, but above all as a publisher of specialized art literature.
The ZČG is one of the most important institutions of its kind in the Czech Republic. Its collections span the period from the 14th century to the present and, in addition to individual masterpieces, include high-quality collections of 19th-century art, turn-of-the-century art, and Czech modernism, including an exceptionally valuable collection of Cubist works. The collection currently comprises more than 13,000 works.
The gallery’s publishing activities are an integral part of its work. The publications, which focus on the visual arts and architecture, accompany exhibitions but also reinforce the gallery’s status as a scientific and research organization. In recent years, the gallery has received a number of prestigious awards not only for its exhibitions but also for its publishing activities—including first place in the “Most Beautiful Czech Books of the Year” competition in the Catalogs category in 2023 and 2024.
The West Bohemian Gallery also collaborates with renowned partners—it has already published four books with the international publisher Scala Arts & Heritage Publishers and is currently establishing a partnership with the new company Kulturalis.
Zuodong Tan
Zuodong Tan is a visual artist working with image-making, image-based publications, zines and self-published artist books. His practice explores distance, looking, movement, and images as a way of sensing one’s presence in the world.
At GHMP Art Book Fair 2026, he presents a selection of self-published works, including JUNGE MÄNNER zine 01, Seaside, iPhone storage, 2025, and a series of works around skateboarders. Moving between photography, appropriation, phone images, moving-image fragments, sequencing and material form, the publications approach images not as direct documents, but as spaces and mediums of projection, hesitation, displacement and temporary alignment with the world.
