Prague Figural Porcelain and Its Modeller Ernst Popp from the Collections of the Prague City Museum

The exhibition presents examples from the figural oeuvre of Ernst Popp, executed for the Prague porcelain manufacture, which are deposited in the collection of the City Gallery Prague. The manufacture was established in 1791 and produced earthenware, while porcelain production was launched in 1837. Ernst Popp as its designer was the main person behind the factoryʼs swing up to the global elite.
