Art workshop for adults and seniors / integration and intergenerational programme: Layers of the Image / to the Double exhibition

The art workshops will provide a space where participants can use their chosen techniques to explore the world of doppelgangers, their alter egos, their own identities and hidden reflections that can manifest themselves in images. Participants will explore how identities can be multi-layered through collage and printmaking. They will create an image of their “double” – a combination of their actual appearance and a fantasy or imagined version of themselves—which will then be transferred into print. The graphic prints will be produced using a manual printing process. Inspiration may come from our own photographs, but also from colours, symbols and moods that reflect the artist’s personality.

 

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
