Art workshop for adults and seniors / integration and intergenerational programme: Self-portrait – Between Reality and Imagination / to the Double exhibition

The art workshops will provide a space where participants can use their chosen techniques to explore the world of doppelgangers, their alter egos, their own identities and hidden reflections that can manifest themselves in images.  The focus will be on creating self-portraits using acrylic painting techniques.  Participants will explore their “selves” – both real and imagined. They will focus on questions of identity, appearance and transformation of the self between reality and imagination. Inspiration may come from our own photographs, but also from colours, symbols and moods that reflect the artist’s personality.

 

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
