Art workshop for adults and seniors / integration and intergenerational programme: Word as Gesture II and III / to the Art of Activism exhibition

Interactive workshops will explore the connection between art and society, particularly the subject of the individual in relation to the broader context. The creative artistic work will focus on linking words with images. Participants will choose a single word, short phrase or symbol that expresses their silent wish for society. Through the creative process, we will discover that activism can be subtle, based on observation and that it can be expressed through one’s own work. Participants will symbolically create their own small manifesto using collage, which they will then transfer into print form. The graphic prints will be produced using a manual printing process.

 

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
