The inspirational impulse for the photographic workshops will be selected artists from the collection of the Prague City Gallery (Pavel Baňka, Jiří Hanke, Milota Havránková, Dagmar Hochová, Antonín Kratochvíl, Pavel Mára, Ivan Pinkava, Jan Saudek, Jindřich Štreit, Iva Zímová), who are engaged in various forms of documentary photography, portrait aesthetics or staged studio photography. During the artistic work, participants will get acquainted with studio photography focused on portrait. We will use a creative approach to working with studio light and composition to capture photographic images. As part of the group work, everyone can try out the role of the model or take the place of the photographer.

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
