The interactive workshops are inspired by the sculptural aspects of Troja Château and the visual motifs from its garden. These include for example decorative terracotta vases that adorn the parapets of the south and east sides of the large terrace, the staircase in the courtyard of the Château, and the stone fountain with figurative motifs.

During the art workshops we will focus on the creation of small plaster objects, which will make it possible for us to apply the artistic technique of carving reliefs. Participants can create their own seal, which will contain a personal sign, symbol or ornament. As part of the artistic work, we will also try an experimental method of engraving on a paper base that will be covered with a layer of clay. Inspirational material will be provided for the creative work, reflecting the Baroque Château and its ornamental garden.

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.

This activity is implemented with the financial support of UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency) and the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.
