During the interactive workshops we will become informed about the overall concept of the exhibition and about the exhibiting artists. The art workshops will focus on experimental artistic methods and on the chosen forms of visual art, with attention paid to aspects such as the storyline, the communication system, and the different ways of relating to reality.

Workshops under the title Drawing, Text and Memories will take place directly in the exhibition rooms of the Municipal Library. We will focus on the records taken of the surrounding world as a rhythm of individual elements and on combining textual notes with drawings made while using drawing techniques on paper.

A series of workshops entitled Transformations and Games with Colour will be held in the facilities of the GHMP’s Education Centre. The artistic reflections will focus on practices that take us away from a realistic view of everyday life. We will focus on artistic expressions such as conceptual and abstract art as well as the basic elements of artistic expression (colour, light, line, contour, and shape). The artistic work will be a combination of drawing and painting techniques (charcoal, pastel, acrylic painting, etc.) on a variety of materials (e.g., plastics, fabrics, and cardboard packaging).

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
