This art workshop is inspired by the historic interior of the impressive space of the concert hall in the Stone Bell House. The workshop will focus on the Gothic architectural features (arches, vaults, and traceries) and on the house sign in the exterior – the stone bell which is located on the corner of the building. We will focus on the basic elements of geometry in Gothic architecture which we will apply in creative work (paper in various forms and combined techniques) or in the creation of spatial objects. We will experiment either independently or collaboratively. The Advent workshop with musical accompaniment will be this calendar year’s final celebration of our coming together for creative workshops. This art program will be led by lecturers Kristýna Adámková and Eva Pejchalová with the support of Ukrainian artist Viktoria Mashchenko.

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
