This interactive workshop responds to the setting of the Baroque garden at Troja Château and to the theme of the labyrinth as a place for finding one’s way and making personal decisions. Participants will select dried flowers, plants or small natural materials and create their own composition from them as a personal trace in the labyrinth. These fragments of the landscape will then be cast in epoxy resin and transformed into small objects or pieces of jewellery that preserve the moment of decision, a memory of the place and one’s own journey.
The creative work will interweave themes such as natural materials, the motif of the garden and the symbolism of Ariadne’s thread – finding direction in space and within oneself.
This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
This activity is implemented with the financial support of UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency) and the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.
