The art workshops will reflect the permanent exhibition at the Villa Bílek in Prague where the work of artist František Bílek is presented. At the opening session for the interactive workshops, entitled Drawing Workshop and taking place in the Villa Bílek exhibition in Prague’s Hradčany district, participants will learn through drawing about František Bílek’s major works and become acquainted with his studio space. Participants will be introduced to the basics of figure drawing and the possibilities of artistic interpretation. Attention will be paid to drawing techniques and participants will be able to try working with pencil or red chalk. We will also focus on the dynamics and gesture of the drawing medium during our creative work.
This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
This activity is implemented with the financial support of UNHCR (The UN Refugee Agency) and the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic.
