Art workshop for adults and seniors / integration and intergenerational programme: Advent Workshop

This art workshop is inspired by the historic interior of the representative space of the concert hall in the Stone Bell House. The workshop will focus on the Gothic architectural features (arches, vaults and traceries) and on the house sign on the exterior – the stone bell forming part of the corner of the building. The creative part of the workshop will involve making a small spatial object in the shape of a bell from various types of paper. At the same time, they will learn about traditional techniques for working with textile materials (such as yarn, string, cord, burlap, etc.), which will be demonstrated by Ukrainian artist Olga Ivanova. Throughout the workshop, participants will experiment with different creative solutions, oscillating between independent artistic creation and decorative art.

 

This programme is designed not only for adults and seniors, but also for their children and grandchildren as part of an intergenerational encounter. The workshops are also open to foreign visitors.
