Vrchotová graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University with a degree in art history. She worked at the National Gallery in Prague as the curator for education in the Collection of Modern and Contemporary Art, providing visitors with the opportunity to meet contemporary artists on a regular basis and exposing visitors to the open opinions of renowned art historians and theorists. Within the framework of interdisciplinary overlaps at the Trade Fair Palace, she worked closely with the Studio Hrdinů Theatre, the SE.S.TA Centre for Choreographic Development, the international festival of contemporary dance, and movement theatre Tanec Praha, etc.

As a freelancer specializing in visual arts, she worked at the Vltava radio station, where she regularly prepared and hosted the programmes Vizitka and Reflexe: Visual Art! from 2017. She has been cooperating with Czech Radio on and off since 2011 when she first regularly offered listeners of Radio Česko and later Vltava an up-to-date view of the Czech gallery scene.

She currently works at the Prague City Gallery as Head of the Department of Communication, Programmes and Editorial Activities. Together with her colleagues, she has expanded the agenda of the PR department by offering accompanying programmes for both the professional and general public or, more recently, for projects such as Qartal magazine.

She appreciates the generosity of her team and every opportunity to work with interesting experts and publicists. She would delete the word “competition” from the vocabulary of public gallery institutions.
